Production Alliance Group 300 NASCAR Xfinity Series Delay to Sunday 26 Feb 2023

 

Because of bad weather and an unexpected snowstorm in California, the Production Alliance Group 300 NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Auto Club Speedway on Saturday had to be moved to Sunday night.

The race, which has been rescheduled for 8 p.m. ET, will take place after the Pala Casino 400 NASCAR Cup Series contest on Sunday. Driver introductions and opening rituals were conducted during a mid-afternoon rain break. After starting engines, the Xfinity Series cars took pace laps, but rain resumed, forcing NASCAR to bring the cars to pit road. NASCAR called the postponement at 7:06 p.m. ET due to weather.

Both races' qualifying rounds were canceled early Saturday morning because it was raining and then snowing on the 2-mile track. After it snowed for about an hour, it started to rain again.
